The Senior Solutions Project

The Senior Solutions Project is a community driven initiative designed to empower seniors by providing them with the knowledge and resources they need to navigate legal and social challenges. It focuses on key areas such as understanding their rights, accessing government benefits, and recognizing and addressing elder abuse. By offering workshops and partnering with local advocacy organizations in Leicester, the project aims to ensure that seniors have access to accurate, relevant, and actionable information in a supportive environment.

Diljot started this project because she recognized a significant gap in accessible legal education and resources tailored specifically for seniors. Many older individuals face barriers such as limited awareness, financial constraints, or physical accessibility issues, which prevent them from seeking help. Diljot was inspired to bridge this gap after seeing how vulnerable seniors can be to exploitation or neglect. By addressing these challenges through education and community support, the Senior Solutions Project seeks to promote dignity, security, and empowerment for the elderly in Leicester.
